His participation complemented the high-level dialogue led by Dr. Atter Hannoura (Ministry of Finance) and Eng. Ashraf Zeitoun (EBRD – Green Economy Financing Facility). By addressing the practical logistics of Cross-Border Energy Trade, Dr. El Banna provided the operational “how-to” that supported the Ministry’s high-level financial frameworks.

This track was explicitly designed to provide a platform for young innovators to present ideas ahead of COP27. Mr. Nabil’s strategic advice on “recession-proofing” startups provided the necessary financial grounding for these innovators, directly supporting the Ministry of Environment’s goal to involve youth in the national climate dialogue.
