According to Amr Mahfouz said, ITIDA CEO, The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector in Egypt is very robust, with a growth rate higher than Egypt’s overall level of GDP growth, equivalent to 15.2% in the fiscal year 2019/2020 and around EGP 108 billion of revenues. Its contribution to the GDP has increased to 4.4% in the fiscal year 2019/2020 compared to 3.5% in 2018/2019. Total investments in the sector increased by 35% in 2019/2020 and reached $3.5 billion.
