Expole Egypt Energy 2023 SME Consulting Talks Media Coverage, and our participation in the Egypt Energy 2023 conference.
As the Official Consulting Partner for Egypt Energy 2023, SME Consulting played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic dialogue of the event. Our participation was rooted in our identity as a 100% Egyptian firm with a global vision, leveraging our experience across more than 30 countries to provide local insights with international standards. We were not just exhibitors; we were facilitators of knowledge, bridging the gap between high-level policy and on-the-ground investment reality for the thousands of professionals in attendance.
By providing decision-support tools and market intelligence, we helped regional investors navigate the complexities of North Africa’s energy transition. Whether through one-on-one booth consultations or our headline conference talks, SME Consulting remained dedicated to fostering an environment where sustainable energy projects could thrive through rigorous planning and strategic alignment.
The Egypt Energy expo remains the premier platform for the MEA energy community, this year hosting over 6,700 visitors and 135 exhibitors from 11 different countries. The event highlighted five critical sectors that are redefining the region: Transmission & Distribution, Renewables & Clean Energy, Backup Generators & Critical Power, Energy Consumption & Management, and Smart Solutions.
A core takeaway from the expo was Egypt’s accelerated commitment to its Vision 2030 goals, specifically aiming for a 42% renewable energy contribution by 2035.
The discussions underscored Egypt’s rise as a global hub for Green Hydrogen exports, facilitated by its strategic location and a competitive production cost of approximately $3.73 per unit. These insights reveal a market that is rapidly shifting toward localized manufacturing and high-tech energy infrastructure, creating a fertile ground for “Green and Eco-Friendly” investments.

He outlined the essential components required to attract institutional funding, including Industry Analysis, Marketing Mix, and a robust Risk Management Plan featuring Fishbone analysis and Risk Matrixing. Using successful case studies like $70M+ raises in the green energy space, he demonstrated how a well-structured “Pitch Deck” and clear “Exit Scenarios” can turn an eco-friendly concept into a high-valuation reality.
