The conference program at the Egypt Energy 2022 Conference through Exhibition was an intensive, three-day forum featuring more than 25 session tracks. The agenda was designed to provide strategic clarity on finance, regulatory reform, and technological deployment across the Egyptian and African energy markets.

The program featured high-level speakers from government, finance, and industry, ensuring every discussion was grounded in policy and commercial reality.

The 2022 Congress was structured around the theme “Confident in Transitioning into a Sustainable Future,” aligning directly with Egypt’s preparations for hosting COP27. The agenda was divided to cover the entire value chain:

  • Day 1 Focus: Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, and Interconnection Projects. Key discussions centered on the National Energy Strategy to maximize local resources and the strategic electrical interconnection with neighboring African nations.

  • Day 2 Focus: Sustainability & Clean Energy. This track featured critical panels on the global Net Zero Concept, aiming to decarbonize the industrial sector and adapt to climate change impacts.

  • Day 3 Focus: Investment & Finance. Dedicated to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), this day provided the roadmap for funding the energy transition.

Day 1: Power Generation and Transmission & Distribution Conference

The first day focused on modernizing Egypt’s infrastructure and expanding its role as a regional energy hub.
